We’re Kyle & Michelle
We’re building a life that’s a little slower, a little more hands-on, and a whole lot more intentional. We’re working on our barndominium, growing food, learning old skills, and doing our best to be prepared — but we’ll be honest… we don’t want to give up electricity or WIFI until we absolutely have to 😊.
Around here you’ll find from-scratch cooking, DIY projects, honest reviews, and real life as it happens — the good, the messy, and the learning curves. Our faith guides what we do, and we’re thankful for God’s provision in every season. If you’re looking for encouragement to use what you have, try something new, and enjoy the simple things, follow along with us.
You can find us in all these places…
Come pull up a chair and stay awhile.
Subscribe below for occasional insider updates from The Stead—what we’re building, cooking, growing, and figuring out as we blend modern life with old-fashioned ways. We’ll only pop into your inbox when we have something worth sharing.
