Passover at Our Table: A Night to Remember God’s Faithfulness

Every year as Passover arrives, we find ourselves pausing a little more and reflecting a little deeper. It’s one of those evenings we look forward to all year long.

Some years our table is full. Friends, family, extra chairs pulled up, and lots of conversation filling the room. Other years it’s just the two of us sitting at the table together. And honestly, both are just as beautiful.

Passover isn’t about how many people are gathered. It’s about remembering.

It’s about remembering God’s faithfulness. Remembering how He delivered His people. Remembering that His promises are still true today.

There’s something special about preparing the meal. The simple foods. The matzah. The lamb. Each piece telling a story that has been shared for generations. It reminds us that faith isn’t just something we read about — it’s something we live, remember, and pass on.

Some years our celebration feels lively and full of laughter. Other years it feels quiet and reflective. But every year it feels sacred.

Even when it’s just the two of us, we light the candles, say the prayers, and take time to slow down and be thankful. In a world that moves so fast, Passover gives us a moment to pause and remember the goodness of the Lord.

We sit at our little table, grateful for His provision, grateful for His love, and grateful for another year to celebrate His faithfulness.

Whether your table is full this year or quietly set for two, Passover is still a beautiful night with the Lord.

And that, truly, is what makes it so special.

Lord Bless You, Michelle
